I would highly recommend this hour long chat between the wonderful Nathan Tankus and Paul Krugman. It is 95% Tankus (for those who are not Krugman fans!), who writes incredibly in-depth pieces on the financial system on his website Notes on the Crises. He provides an overview of the plumbing of today’s financial system and provides insight into the dangers of Trump induced volatility meeting the conventional wisdom processors that operate the financial system. Where does the madness of Trump sit in a VaR financial world? Well worth a listen.
